Titration starts whilst the distillation is still in progress, therefore the analysis time for samples with high nitrogen content can be significantly shortened.
Back titration is only used when boric acid is not allowed. It requires an optional external dosing unit for precise addition of receiving solution.
Selected titrator models provided by Metrohm, Mettler-Toledo, SI Analytics (Schott), and Radiometer have all been tested and proven to work in combination with the K-360.
The cables are supplied by BUCHI.
Yes, some of the K-360 instrument versions include an acid resistant pump, acid resistant hoses and valve membranes.
A choice of eight versions is available:
- Two basic models (for manual titration) with glass or plastic splash protector
- Two models equipped for the connection of an external titrator (for automatic titration) either with glass or plastic splash protector
- Two models with an acid resistant pump (for direct distillations) with glass or plastic splash protector;
- Two models with an acid resistant pump (for direct distillations), and equipped for the connection of an external titrator (for automatic titration) with glass or plastic splash protector
