BUCHI Rotavapor® R-300 receives several design awards
German Design Award, RedDot Award and iF Award for BUCHI rotary evaporator Rotavapor® R-300. iF Award Communication for User Interface I-300 & I-300 Pro.
BUCHI is proud to announce that the rotary evaporator Rotavapor® R-300 has been recognized with the German Design Awards 2016, the RedDot Award 21 and the iF International Forum Design Award. Furthermore, the User Interface I-300 and I-300 Pro for the R-300 received the iF Award in the category “communication”. According to the commitees, the awarded products set a new standard of quality, modularity, flexibility, ergonomics, comfort and safety with a strong, consistent corporate product design language.

The rotary evaporator Rotavapor® R-300 evaporates liquids for separation. The modular concept offers many options for upgrades and customization (e.g. hand lift / electrical, touchscreen controllers, 2l and 5l bath, protection shield, various vessel types etc.). Several vacuum pumps and recirculation coolers complete the product family. I-300 and I-300 Pro are interfaces for the BUCHI Rotavapor® R-300. Both are fully automated process controllers of all system components – attached on the rotary evaporator. The I-300 Pro offers the additional option of navigating the menu either by using the function buttons / push-wheel or the touchscreen functionality of the display or both combined. The different modes (operating or processing) are visually separated trough reversing the display colors.
